It's everything a Bentley should be. Big, powerful, heavy. Very, very british indeed. The interior is pure luxury.
Where the Rolls feels excessive and out of place, the Bentleys feels just right. In the Rolls you show up at the Oscars, in the Bentley you cross countries at 170mph.
It's a proper gentleman's express.

Even if you're not a Bentley fan, or even if you don't particularly like British cars, you have to be sad to see the last true Bentley with the 6.75 litre V8 go. End of an era.

don't like bentleys but this was heaps better than that ugly continental/flying spur thing

This makes me sad. When I first started getting into cars and actually looking into information about them, about 10 years ago, the Bentley was one of the ones I fell in love with. At the time it was the Continental SC but I always liked the Arnage too. It is tastefully classy and awesomely powerful. I still remember the first (and I think only) time I have ever seen one on public roads. It was something special. Sad to see it go, though. I also remember the Arnage's short cameo in the movie Children of Men. Epic scene, it fit so well and especially with King Crimson playing.
