Somehow, I don't think it would rate a 10 for several things, like acceleration, ride, front/rear seat shoulder and hip room, rear leg room and luggage space, among other things.

I got a better idea: Rate the Driver.
What-------11
Because a ten is so "normal".
Hmmmm...
Peugeot 206
Styling: 7 (could be a little sportier, but it's a beautiful shape)
Engine: 4 (1.1 does not do acceleration)
Starting: 2 (it takes ages. And has a rough idle.)
Response/acceleration: 6 (zippy enough)
Fuel mileage: 8 (getting there. Heading for 50mpg now!)
Noise: 5 (sounds great in the car, shit outside!)
Vibration: 9 (very refined for a baby)
Drivetrain: 6 (handles input well, good gearing and well-suited to the car)
Brakes: 4 (spongy, and not that great either)
Steering: 9 (full of feel, really well weighted, excellent feedback)
Suspension: 10 (It's French. Rides really well, and comfortable)
Controls: 8 (everything there, all intuitive)
Interior: 9 (comfortable and very spacious for a small car)
Weather protection: 10 (doesn't leak, no rust, no wind noise)
Quality control: 6 (some squeaks and rattles, but hasn't fallen apart yet)
General: 8 (I love it)
Comfort: 10 (supportive, soft seats plus gentle suspension makes for a very nice car to ride in)
1987 Ford Mustang GT
Styling: 4 (Very Boxy)
Engine: 8 (Modified....375 Rwhp on the dyno)
Starting: 6 (Starts just fine...but the first few gear changes jerk the car)
Response/acceleration: 8 (Great torque monster, 12's on street tires)
Fuel mileage: 3 (Horrible)
Noise: 8 (American muscle)
Vibration: 5 (The car vibrates at idle)
Drivetrain: 7 (5-speed clunk box...but it hasn't broken)
Brakes: 5 (Drums in the back need to go...brakes fade frequently)
Steering: 7 (Better than expected...the steering wheel is chunky though)
Suspension: 7 (Modified, but it still isn't great)
Controls: 6 (I prefer Japanese controls)
Interior: 5 (Very 80's)
Weather protection: 6 (Very dangerous to drive in rain...so I don't)
Quality control: 8 (Nothing broke yet)
General: 10 (I built it up, so I love it.)
Comfort: 6 (Engine noise and vibrations make long drives annoying)[/QUOTE]
Nice!! What did you do to it to get it that high? Any pics? Post something in User's Rides...
And what's wrong with chunky wheels? If they're quite small in diameter, I love chunky steering wheels. The Pug has a nice steering wheel, so does the E46 M3... beautiful stuff...
Or you could go out and buy a suede-trimmed wheel. You'll get amazing grip on it, as well as it feeling orgasmic beneath your fingers and looking the bomb. Just don't get it in white, because it'll get mucky...
A 347 stroker, new cam, intake, aluminum heads...etc. I could write a parts lists but that would be boring. I'll posts pics tomorrow; I'm 80 miles away from the car right now.
Be aware though that I've yet to do major mods to the exterior. Wheels, paint, hood, and Cobra rear bumper are yet to be installed. I haven't had the time lately. It doesn't look like trash, but it isn't final.
I guess you didn't see my following posts.
No, I had the engine machining work and 347 installed at a machine shop. I didn't dyno it myself either...but these are both givens.
Everything else...pulling the engine, installing the parts, putting it back together....was done by me and my father.
If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

Assigning a "10" for acceleration, ride, shoulder room, hip room, rear leg room and luggage space for an '82 Honda isn't exactly objective ratings. I put a "9" for shoulder room for my Cadillacs because even though there is plenty (about 63"), some '50s U.S. cars had 66-67".
And the day I become excited about '82 Honda Civics is the day I stop being a car enthusiast!
