<< Prev Page 2 of 2 During the 2011 season, Greaves Motorsport were the only one fielding the Z11SN but that did not stop it from being one of the most successful LMP2 cars of the season. The team scored several class wins most notably at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and drivers Karim Ojjeh and Tom Kimber-Smith also won the Le Mans Series championship as did the team. It was a great season for Zytek Motorsport all around as the Intercontintal Le Mans Cup was won by Zytek/Nissan engined Oreca.
Ahead of the new season, the Z11SN was further developed and the now mandatory fin was added to the engine cover. Three brand new chassis were constructed; two for the Greaves Motorsport and a single one for the Jota team. Building on the success of the previous season, the Greaves team expanded their effort to a two-car effort, notably signing F1 driver come reporter Martin Brundle and son Alex Brundle to drive at Le Mans. It proved to be an altogether more difficult season for the Zytek Z11SN and no (class) victories were scored.
Both Greaves Motorsport and Jota continued to campaign the Zytek Z11SN in 2013. The latter notably scored the type's first outright victory at the Silverstone ELMS round. For the 24 Hours of Le Mans all three 2012 cars are entered again with one of the Greaves cars running with Caterham Motorsport backing. Ahead of the most important race, Zytek and Greaves Motorsport had jointly developed a new aerodynamics package, which will be used by each of the three Nissan-engined Zytek Z11SNs. << Prev Page 2 of 2
