Click here to download printer friendly versionThe first Le Mans 24 Hours races were dominated by French cars and drivers, one of those cars was the Lorraine-Diettrich. The third and fourth races were won by this French team. This chassis failed to finish the 1925 race but was victorious in the 1926 event. Drivers Robert Bloch and Andre Rossignol ended the race covering 2552km; an average of over 100 km/h. The 1926 race was a white-wash for Lorraine-Diettrich with the three cars entered filling the top three places.
