Page 1 of 1 At the 1908 London Motorshow Renault introduced an all new 2 cylinder engined chassis dubbed 'AX'. The AX was the cheapest model in the Renault line-up and was popular as a taxi in Paris. By 1910 a more powerful version was introduced with power increased from 8 hp to 12 hp. A wider chassis was now available especially built for taxi use, the AG. The AG features the characteristic radiator mounted between the driver and the engine.
This AG is seen at the 2002 Louis Vuitton Classic concours d'elegance in Paris where it was entered in the 'pioneer' class. Page 1 of 1
