Page 1 of 1  This is the Bugatti Type 251, as raced in the 1956 Reims GP. It was the last Bugatti GP car and it didn't make a big impression. The big rear engined 251 was underpowered and had spiteful road holding, and was far from competitive. It was powered by a straight 8 engine with a displacement of 2.5 litres. It now rests in the Schlumpf museum in Mullhouse together with a second 251 chassis.Page 1 of 1 |
