Since the department was established, Ferrari have produced over 40 bespoke creations. One of these is the SP30 that was built for an enthusiast from the United Arab Emirates in 2011.

Based on the 599 GTO, the SP30 boasts a completely new bodywork with a classic oval radiator intake and winglets on the C-pillar that were derived from the 599XX track car. The nose features headlights derived from the 458 Italia while the rear lights were carried over from the 599 donor car. On the inside, the SP30 featured 599 GTO gauges and steering wheel and switchgear from the 612.

Whereas some of the Special Projects were made public, Ferrari only released design drawings of the SP30. The completed car did not break cover until 2018, when it was offered for sale by a dealer in Houston, Texas.
