Page 1 of 1 It was a year of change for the Red Bull junior Formula 1 team in 2024. The season started with a fresh identity and then the driver line-up was the subject of much during the year, resulting almost inevitable driver change towards the end. For the 2025 season, the team-name was tweaked a little more to Racing Bulls and yet another new driver signed up. The most significant change was the partial move to a new facility on the Red Bull Racing campus.
For the 2025 season, the Racing Bulls team prepared the VCARB 02. As a car built for the final year of a rule-set, it is very much an evolution of the car used during the previous years. Where allowed, the shares components with the Red Bull Racing cars, which is predominantly in the rear-end, which includes the gearbox and suspension components. Both cars also share the Honda-built power-unit. As before, the front suspension uses pull-rod actuated springs to optimise the aerodynamics.
Returning behind the wheel of the VCARB 02 is Yuki Tsunoda, while his former team-mate Liam Lawson stepped up to join Max Verstappen at Red Bull Racing. His place alongside Tsunoda will be taken by young debutant Isack Hadjar. Page 1 of 1
