Chassis 0810 was the very first 250 P constructed. It was driven to a debut victory in the 1963 Sebring 12 Hours by John Surtees and Ludovico Scarfiotti. In the remainder, 0810 was used by Scuderia Ferrari but did not score any more victories. It did finish third overall and second in class at Le Mans. At the end of the year the car was sold to Luigi Chinetti's North American Racing Team (NART). At one point, the car was modified upgraded to 330 P specification. It then continued to be raced through to September of 1965 by the likes of Pedro Rodriguez and Bob Grossman. Following its contemporary racing career, the first 250 P changed hands jus twice before it joined a prominent Italian sports car collection in August of 1988. Rarely seen since, it was eventually consigned to the 2026 Gooding Christie’s Pebble Beach Auctions along with several other fabulous cars from the same collection.
