Chassis:
Shown at the 1953 Geneva and Torino motor shows, chassis 0263EU was one of 16 Pinin Farina coupes built on the 212 Inter underpinnings. Sold new to a Frenchman living in Paris, the car eventually crossed the Atlantic in 1962. In 1990, the 212 Inter Pinin Farina Coupe was submitted to a complete restoration by Wayne Obry's Motion Products. Upon completion, the result was awarded with a best in class trophy at Pebble Beach and the Cavallino Cup at the 1994 Cavallino Classic. The current owner acquired the car in 2000 and it has since only rarely been shown. One such occasion was the 2006 Cavallino Classic where it was part of a line-up of former winners.
