The featured DN2 is the second example built and still comes complete with its twin-turbo V8 engine. Fully restored, it was sold by Nichols to German collector Peter Kaus in 1987. He displayed the car (no attempts were made to start the engine) for nearly two decades in his impressive Rosso Bianco Collection. After the sale of the entire collection, the twin-turbo DN2 was offered together with a host of Can-Am cars, including a DN4, at the 2006 Bonhams Quail auction. Even though it was not in full running order, the rare Shadow changed hands for well over $200,000.
