Chassis:
This car started life in 1983 as chassis 0003 and as such was campaigned extensively by the Martini works team and also loaned to privateer Jolly Club. Highlight in its racing career was a victory in the 1985 Spa 1000 km. While run by the Sponsor Gest Team, it was heavily crashed late in 1986. The car was subsequently rebuilt using a spare tub and at that time adopted the chassis number 0003/B. In this guise, the car continued to compete in contemporary events until the end of 1988. Restored to its original Martini livery, the LC2 was extensively raced in historic events between 1995 and 2005. The current owner then acquired the car but did not start racing it until recently.
