Chassis:
The second 76S produced, this chassis was sold new to Swiss privateer racer Eugen Straehl complete with the potent BMW M12 engine. He raced the car with considerable success, winning the Swiss hill-climb and sports car championships twice. In 1990, the current owner found the car in derelict conditions. He had it meticulously restored and has since campaigned it with great success in the Supersports Championship. Chassis 76S/2 is seen here in action during the 2006 Silverstone Classic.
