Chassis:
This is the very first Porsche 935 K3, which was raced in the 1979 German DRM Championship for the works team by Klaus Ludwig. Of the 15 rounds, he won a staggering 12 and placed twice in two of the other three. At the end of the year it was sold to a Belgian privateer, who briefly raced the car in the DRM with a fourth as the best result. By 1982, it was in British hands and raced extensively with great success, including a Group 5 class victory at Le Mans. Chassis 009 0002 was later on display in a British museum but has since been restored to full racing order, still sporting its 1982 Le Mans livery.
