Chassis:
This 1980 specification 935 K3 was delivered new to Ted Field and his Interscope team. Finished in the team's familiar black livery and waring number '0', it was raced throughout the 1980 IMSA Series by Field, who was joined for the long distance by Danny Ongais. They had a very consistent season but a victory eluded the Interscope 935 K3. Field moved up to the GTP class with a Lola in 1981 and the K3 was not raced again by Interscope. Later in the decade, it was campaigned in modified form by John Klug but with limited success. It has since been restored to its Interscope configuration and once again prepared for racing.
