Chassis:
Australia's Porsche importer Alan Hamilton was the first owner of this 935 K3. He actually received the car as a bare shell and it was only completed when passed on to second owner Rusty French, who also owned a sister K3. French raced the car both in his native Australia and in Great Britain where he won the local GT championship in 1989. In 2004, the car was completely restored with an eye on historic racing. French returned to his winning ways at the 2005 Le Mans Classic in Japan and subsequently also mastered the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca during several outings of the Monterey Historic Races and subsequent Motorsports Reunion.
