Chassis:
This rare L88 Roadster was ordered new by an American serviceman stationed in South Korea. He collected the well specified machine upon his return to the United States in February of 1969. It was subsequently owned by noted collectors Dr. Paul Noble and later Ron Landis. When the current owner acquired it in 2005, it joined a collection of highly original machines. It has a recorded mileage of less than 20,000 miles and has never been completely restored. On Saturday, January 18th, it will be offered by Gooding & Co. in their annual Scottsdale sale. The pre-sale estimate is $625,000 - $700,000.
