Chassis:
Built on the long wheelbase chassis, this is one of around a dozen 'Beverly' berline sedans built by Murphy. Among the most striking features of this design are the raked windshield and the small windows in the A-pillar. During the ownership of Noel Thompson this car was meticulously restored by Stone Barn Restorations. It has since been shown at numerous events and was an award winner more often than not. Early in 2013, it was entered in the annual Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale. It changed hands for just over $1.4 million. In 2014, it re-appeared at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance where it won third in class.
