Chassis:
The final 312 B produced, chassis 004 made a victorious debut in the hands of Clay Regazzoni at the 1970 Italian Grand Prix at Monza. In the remainder of the season, the Swiss driver used this example to finish second behind Ickx both in Canada and Mexico. Regazzoni also started off the following year well with a third in the South African Grand Prix. Raced until October of 1971, this was the last 312 B to be fielded by the factory. With the chassis number 003, this 312 B was bought by the late Tom Wheatcroft for his quickly growing Donnington Grand Prix Collection. As a result, it has survived in remarkably original condition.
