Chassis:
One of the original Nuvolari Spyders, chassis 021 SMM was sold new to Sicilian Ignazio Salonia. He campaigned the car on his native island before selling it on. It has since had a continuous history with a succession of Italian owners. Beautifully restored while in the ownership of renowned industrial designer Mark Newson, it has passed through the hands of broker Simon Kidston twice, most recently ending up with a London, England based Canadian historic racer and collector. He has since raced the car in the 2013 Mille Millia retrospective and the Goodwood Revival and also showed it Salon Prive where it placed third in class.
