Chassis:
The penultimate T292 produced, this was the second chassis sold through Joachim Bonnier to the Portuguese team sponsored by the 'Banco Iternational Portuges' or BIP. Originally fitted with a Cosworth FVC engine it was raced by local drivers Carlos Gaspar and Jorge Pinhol during the 1973 season with limited success. At some point during the season, the two BIP cars were upgraded to BDG engines. Re-engined again, this time with Simca engines, the car was raced at Le Mans in 1974 and 1975 by ROC where it failed to finish on both occasions. In more recent years, it was was campaigned by a Portuguese historic racer Rodrigo Gallego with some success, winning the Porto Grand Prix in 2009. The current owner acquired the car in 2011 and brought it out for the first time during the 2013 season.
