Chassis:
With serial numbers 4201 and 4202 allocated to the 4.2 litre engines sold to Tony Parravano, the unique Maserati 420/M/58 received the chassis number 4203. Following its competition career, it was retained by Maserati. Along with the rest of the Maserati works collection, it was acquired by Umberto Panini from Alejandro DeTomaso in May of 1997 to prevent the collection from falling apart. Restored to its 1958 Race of Two Worlds livery and specification, it has since been displayed in a beautiful purpose-built museum on the grounds of the Panini family's biodynamic farm.
