Chassis:
The fourth and final 312 F1 built in 1967, chassis 0007 was not pressed into service until Italian Grand Prix in September. Chris Amon drove the car three times in 1967 with a seventh at Monza as the best result. Amon raced this chassis again for most of the 1968 season, finishing third at Silverstone. Derek Bell also briefly drove 0007 towards the end of the year but he failed to finish on both occasions. Shortly after being retired from active duty, it was sold to French Ferrari collector Pierre Bardinon. Having spent many years in his fabulous Mas du Clos collection, it was eventually sold and subsequently passed through the hands of other noted collectors like Yoshiho Matsuda and Carlos Monteverde. In more recent years it was owned by Todd Morici and today it is part of a French collection again.
