Chassis:
This 250 LM made its first public appearance at the 1964 Earls Court Motor Show in London. Immediately after, it was acquired by privateer racer Ron Fry, who extensively campaigned the car in local hill-climb and sprint events until the fall of 1966 when it was shown at Earls Court again. The subsequent owners continued to race chassis 6105 in local and international events until September of 1970. Later in the decade it was raced some more by then owner Richard Cotton. He sold the car to prominent Japanese collector Yoshijuki Hayashi, while it later joined the Matsuda collection. In more recent years, it returned to Europe and was raced in major historic events like the Goodwood Revival and the Le Mans Classic.
