Chassis:
Originally sold to Viscount Edward Portman and registered DDJ 4C, this 250 LM was soon after acquired by Jackie Epstein. He raced the car with some success on all corners of the world for two seasons before selling it on to David Prophet. He raced the car, now repainted silver grey, at select events during 1967 before retiring it from contemporary racing. During the next decades, chassis 6051 passed through the hands of collectors of note like Frits Kroymans, Charles Arnott, Claude Nahum and Sir Irvine Laidlaw. In the latter's ownership, it was campaigned in the Goodwood Revival in 2009 and 2010 and also at the 2010 Le Mans Classic.
