Chassis:
One of the 250 LMs sold new to Scuderia Filipinetti, this chassis was raced with considerable success by the likes of Ludovico Scarfiotti and Nino Vaccarella. In 1965, it was crashed heavily. In the aftermath, the chassis modified to accept a Porsche 906 body. IN this guise, it was raced by a succession of Swiss and Austrian owners. Following another accident, the remains were eventually sold to Eric Stewart of 10cc fame. During the late 1970s, the car was rebuilt using the original engine but probably around a new chassis. It changed hands regularly during the 1980s and 1990s. It was restored again in the late 1990s and in 2005 was certified by Ferrari.
