Chassis:
The second MC12 raced by Vitaphone in the 2005 FIA GT Championship, it was raced that year by Thomas Biagi and Fabio Babini. They won at Oschersleben, placed second at Istanbul behind the sister car and finished third in the first four races. In 2006, Biagi was joined by Jamie Davies and the pairing drove the car to two additional victories. For the following seasons, the car was raced for Scuderia Playteam by Andrea Bertolini and Andrea Picini, who won in Bucharest. For 2008, it was back in the Vitaphone fold. Sharing the driving duties were Miguel Ramos and Alexandre Negrao, who continued the car's winning ways at Nogaro. Still run by Vitaphone, it did not win in 2009. For 2010, it was fielded by Team Hegersport in the FIA GT1 World Championship with a second as the best result. Following its contemporary racing career, it was restored to its 2009 Spa 24 Hours pole position winning configuration. Through Dutch broker Machines with a Mission, it was sold to the current Dutch historic racer, who campaigned the car at the 2020 Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort.
