Chassis:
One of two MC12s campaigned by the Vitaphone team in the 2005 FIA GT Championship, this chassis was first seen at the pre-season Monza test where it set the fastest time. It was raced that season by team owner Michael Bartels and his compatriot Timo Scheider. With the help of third driver Eric van de Poele, they won the Spa 24 Hours and later also clinched a victory in Istanbul. With Bartels now partnered with Andrea Bertolini, it continued its victorious ways in 2006, once again winning the Spa 24 Hours. The car's very long racing career lasted until 2010 and among its subsequent wins were a victory in the very last FIA GT race at Zolder in 2009.
