Shown at the 2004 Geneva Motor Show, chassis 15442 was one of the works-supported cars raced by AF Corse in the final rounds of that year's FIA GT. The car debuted at Imola where Andrea Bertolini and Mika Salo finished second. The talented pairing won the next time out at Oschersleben after starting fourth. After failing to finish in Dubai due to an engine problem, Bertolini and Salo won again in the final race of the season at Zhuhai. While the sister chassis continued to be raced, this MC12 was retired at the end of 2004. At a rare public appearance, it is seen here at the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed where it was driven by long-time MC12 proponent Michael Bartels.
