Chassis: 052
Gilles Villeneuve debuted this 126 CK at the 1981 San Marino Grand Prix where he started on the front and eventually finished seventh. Didier Pironi raced the car next, in the Belgian Grand Prix, where he placed eighth. For the remainder of the season, chassis 052 was used by Villeneuve. He raced the car to victory in the Monaco and Spanish Grands Prix. It was last raced in the Las Vegas Grand Prix where it suffered from a fuel injection problem after starting third. The two-time Grand Prix winner was retained by Ferrari and is today on display in the Galleria Ferrari.
