This Toyota-engined RT3 was acquired at the start of the 1982 season by West Surrey Racing, who fielded it for Enrique Mansilla in that year's British Formula 3 Championship. The Argentinian driver was very successful and eventually finished the year runner-up in the championship. The car's real claim to fame came in a non-championship race where it was driven to his very first Formula 3 victory by a young Ayrton Senna. In more recent years, chassis 291 has been completely restored to its Senna race winning livery and it is seen here during the 2012 Monaco Historic Grand Prix.
