Chassis:
One of the new cars built ahead of the 1974 season, chassis 007 was driven to two second place finishes in 1974. It may have had some outings in 1975 before it was gifted by Alfa Romeo to Jacky Ickx, who had raced this very car to second at Monza with Rolf Stommelen, beaten only by team-mates Merzario and Andretti. Together with the Ferrair and Matra prototypes he also owned, the 33/TT/12 was eventually sold to French collector Jacques Setton during the 1980s. Through Fiskens, it was finally offered for sale again in the mid-2000s, while still in highly original condition. It was then sold to a longterm custodian, who continued to preserve the car but maintained it in full running order. After 17 years of single ownership, the 33/TT/12 was consigned to the 2022 Bonhams Quail Lodge Auction.
