The third GH1 built for the Hill Embassy Racing team, this example was first raced by Francois Migault in the Belgian Grand Prix. Vern Schuppan also had a single outing before it was entrusted to Alan Jones. He used it to score the fifth place finish at the German Grand Prix. Following the team's unfortunate demise, chassis GH1-3 was acquired by American Marc Bahner. He had the car restored to full running order before selling it on in 1996. In more recent years, the most successful of all four GH1s built was campaigned in historic events throughout North America.
