Chassis:
Disappointed by the results of the fixed-head Nash-Healey in the previous 24 Hours of Le Mans, Donald Healey ordered a new lightweight racing car to be built for the 1952 running. Reportedly constructed in only two weeks, the new racer was certainly not a looker. In the hands of Leslie Johnson and Tommy Wisdom, it did prove very successful as they managed to score a third overall an first in class at Le Mans. Fully restored, chassis X6, returned to Le Mans for the 2006 Le Mans Classic where it is pictured here.
