Chassis:
Replacing his Scarab, which had also been built by Troutman-Barnes, the second Chaparral was sold to privateer racer Harry Heuer. Liveried in the subtle Meister Brauser livery, the car was raced with considerable success by Heuer into the 1964 season. During this period he won numerous regional and national races in his Chaparral. In 1965, it was acquired by Augie Pabst, who had also formerly raced Scarabs. Faced with rivals driving superior, mid-engined cars, Pabst failed to impress and retired the car by the fall that same year. Restored to its original configuration and livery, it was most recently owned by a Canadian collector.
