Chassis:
Joining a stable of over 50 competition cars, this Delahaye 135 S was acquired new by chocolate millionaire Jacques Menier along with a sister car. While he used the other 135 S on the road, this example was actually raced but only four times by Phillippe Maillard-Brune before the War. It subsequently changed hands several times and was campaigned by René Cotton as late as the early 1950s. In more recent years, it was part of Jonathan Proctor collection before being sold to the United States.
