Chassis:
This 206 S Dino Spyder was acquired new by Scuderia Sant'Ambroeus for Edoardo Lualdi. He successfully campaigned the car in hillclimb events in Italy throughout the 1966 season. It subsequently passed through several hands and continued to be raced until the late 1960s. Among its subsequent owners in the following years were Lualdi again and also Austrian Egon Hofer. In 1972, it was acquired by the current owner for 'just' DM 8,000 from a Munich-based German. During the 1990s, it was campaigned in several historic events for the owner by fellow Swede Tommy Borsson. In 2013, the car was certified by the factory and extensively restored by Tim Samways. Early in 2014, chassis 016 made its post-restoration debut on Peter Wiesner's Retromobile stand.
