Chassis:
The final Mondeo Super Tourer built by Prodrive, this chassis was allocated to Rickard Rydell throughout the 2000 British Touring Car Championship. The quick Swede won a total of three rounds and ended the year third in the championship behind his team-mates. At the end of the season, it was sold to a privateer racer. Chassis 2K-04 has since been regularly campaigned in contemporary and historic touring car championships. Its most recent owner has now consigned it to Silverstone Auctions' February 22-23 Race Retro sale. The pre-sale estimate is £ 100,000 - 120,000.
