Chassis:
The original Nomad, chassis 001 was extensively campaigned by Mark Konig throughout the 1967 and 1968 seasons with several versions of the Ford/Lotus and BRM engines. Ahead of the 1969 season, it was sold to Julian Hasler. He fielded the Nomad, powered by the 1.5 litre BRM V8, for Peter Jackson and a choice of co-drivers like Mike Crabtree and Clive Baker. Its final period appearance was at Brands Hatch in September of 1969 where Willie Green placed 2nd. It was later sold to Germany where it was owned by enthusiast Wolfgang Wegener for over two decades. In more recent years, French historic racer Xavier Micheron campaigned the car, powered by a Lotus four-cylinder engine. Late in 2013, it was sold on.
