Chassis:
One of the works prepared and campaigned Ligier JS2s this examples career spans four full seasons. In 1973, it came very close to winning the Tour de France, absolutely dominating the event until its distributor failed. There was redemption in 1974 when it was driven to outright victory in the Le Mans 4 Hours. Its final outing came at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1975 where it was driven by Francois Migault and Henri Pescarolo. Sadly, a puncture ended their efforts early. The car has since been completely restored and is today owned by a British collector and historic racer, who does the JS2 justice by campaigning it both on the track and also in the Tour Auto retrospective.
