Chassis:
The unique BT3, Brabham's very first Formula 1 car, was used by the Brabham Racing Organisation team for a total of six Grands Prix; three in 1962 and a further three in 1963. It finished fourth twice in 1962 and a fifth in its final outing of 1963. Ian Raby gave the car four more outings in 1964 and 1965 but with little success. Following a brief career as a hill climb car in the hands of David Hepworth, it joined the Donnington Grand Prix collection where it was restored to its original configuration. In 2012, it was sold to the current owner, who has since campaigned the car at Goodwood and has also lodged an entry for the 2014 Monaco Historic Grand Prix.
