Chassis: FJ-8-62
This is the eighth of a total of eleven BT2s built by Brabham in 1962. It was used to replace chassis two as the works car for Frank Gardner during the second half of the season. At the end of the year, Gardner shipped it to Australia where it was actively raced for many years; first in contemporary and later in vintage events. After having nine Australian owners, it was sold to the United States in 2001, where it was completely restored two years later. During the mid-2000s, it was actively campaigned by its then owner. It has since been sold to the United Kingdom.
