Fitted with a BRM V8 engine when new, this BT8 was sold to the American Team Rosebud. They entered the car for Jack Brabham himself in the Lavant Cup at Goodwood, where he finished third overall and first in class. It was later fitted with a Coventry Climax engine and raced only a handful of times. In 1967, it was sold to the Victoria Public School in the United States. Following a succession of American and Australian owners, it was acquired by Steve Tillack in 1993. He had the car completely restored and fitted with a period correct BRM V8 engine.
