Chassis:
Fitted with the Tipo 102 engine, this was the first of twelve 375 MM chassis clothed by Pinin Farina with Spyder bodywork. It was sold to new to Piero Scotti late in 1953. He immediately entered it in the Casablanca 12 Hours, which he won outright with Giuseppe Farina as co-driver. Scotti continued to successfully race the car throughout the 1954 season, scoring several victories. In 1955, chassis 0360AM was sold to Portugal and before the end of the decade it was on its way to the United States. Among its subsequent owners were noted Ferrari aficionado Norman Silver and Len Rusiewicz, who owned the car for nearly three decades. In 2005, it was acquired by Italian Emilio Gnutti, who show the 4.5 litre Ferrari at Villa d'Este and raced it in the Mille Miglia retrospective. It has since been sold back to the United States.
