Chassis:
A works car, this Pinin Farina Spyder was first raced at the 1954 Buenos Aires 1000 km, where it was driven to victory by Giuseppe Farina and Umberto Maglioli. In March of 1954, chassis 0370AM was sold to Masten Gregory, who campaigned the car with considerable success on both sides of the Atlantic for the remainder of the year. His best results came late in the year when he won the Nassau Trophy during the Bahamas speed week. During the following years, the car was raced in minor events in North America by three subsequent owners. Following its retirement from contemporary racing, it has been in the ownership of noted collectors like Kirk F. White, Anthony Bamford and Peter Glaesel.
