Chassis:
The Rollston Company of New York was commissioned to cloth this DV-32 with a variation of its familiar Convertible Victoria style bodywork. This particular designs features an unusually angled windshield, making the Stutz lower still. Nothing is known about the car's early history but it did form part of the fabulous Harrah Collection from 1960. In more recent years and under new ownership, it was shown at the 2006 and 2011 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. In 2013 it was sold by RM Auctions during their Amelia Island sale for just over $1.5 million. That was almost twice the high estimate and the most ever paid for a Stutz at auction.
