Chassis MS670B-06 was the final all-new Matra sports racer built. Updated to MS670C specification, it was raced in the 1974 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans by Henri Pescarolo and Gerard Larousse. Starting from pole, the French pairing scored Matra's third victory in a row with an impressive six-lap lead. Not raced again, the Le Mans-winning chassis was retained by Matra and displayed in the company museum. At rare public appearances, it is seen here during 2012 24 Hours of Le Mans and the 2006 Le Mans Classic.
