Chassis:
The first Sauber with an aluminium monocoque, the sole C4 built has had a remarkably long racing career. After being campaigned with considerable success by the works team between 1975 and 1977, it was campaigned by a Greek privateer in local hill-climb events for many more years. After a spell in the hands of Ian Giles, it was acquired by the current owner in 2000. Now fully restored to its original configuration, the car is regularly raced in historic events in North America.
