Chassis:
One of the two works cars built for the 1966 season, this Le Mans Sprite was raced by the factory at Sebring and Le Mans. In the hands of Paul Hawkins and Timo Makinen, it finished 18th overall and first in class at Sebring. After Le Mans it was sold and later re-appeared in the 1970 Daytona 24 Hours. It remained in the United States until 2010 when it returned to Great Britain. Still sporting its striking Day-Glow livery, it was recently offered by Coys with a pre-sale estimate of GBP 200,000 - 220,000 but offers failed to meet the reserve set.
