Chassis:
Completed late in 1954, this was the very last 375 MM fitted with Berlinetta coachwork by Pinin Farina and the third to last 375 MM built by Ferrari. Intended as a road car, it was eventually sold and shipped to the United States early in 1955. Its first owner, Alfredo Ducato, brought it to Pebble Beach in 1956 where he won his class. The final 375 MM Pinin Farina Berlinetta was acquired in 1969 by prominent collector Fred Leydorf. Since then, it has only very rarely been seen in public. One of these rare occasions was the 2006 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elgance, where it was shown exactly fifty years after its first appearance. In 2025, it was consigned along with two other cars from the Leydorf Collection to headline the 2025 Gooding Amelia Island Auctions.
